It's All Good!

It's been a minute, but it's been all good! Lot's of changes. The "Obama" collage is up at the Washington Park Library (until 7/31) and I've been getting some really good, positive feedback. The "Blk Art, History & Culture" Workshops are in full swing and I am loving every single minute of it. So far July has been an awesome month!
I am doing my best to maintain the workouts, holding down that 12 pound weight lost, but the gym is under new management and I no longer have the AB/Core Class. And Thank goodness I am getting a brief break from my Seasonal job so that I can totally enjoy the workshops and subbing for another class. Totally honored to be doing something I love! Love this "Frederick Douglas" portrait and had to share this photo. I've also been hooking up some volunteer activities. I'll be volunteering at "African World Festival"August 6th (Summerfest Grounds) helping to promote the "Community Arts & Funk Festival" taking place on August 27th in Downtown Milwaukee at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts Peck Pavilion. You can check it out online @ www.artsandfunk.com I love this kind of stuff so it's more like having fun than it is volunteering.
It's incredibly hot, hot, hot so be sure to check on your elderly neighbors and please show kindness to the homeless, they need to cool off too! A $1 for a cool drink.
P.S. Do something you love & stay cool!!!!!
