IT'S A LOAD OFF!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately all the work I did on the "Obama Collage" has to be redone. The secures aren't strong enough to hold the items and things started to come undone. The good news is-is that I made a smaller "Obama" collage and it along with two other of my collage's will be on display at the Washington Park Library (located off Sherman Blvd) the entire month of July!!! I am so thrilled!!! It's a blessing. I'm also reading a book called "Copper Sun" for another possible blessing, but either way, just being able to read is a blessing!

I've been a hardcore solider sticking to the 2011 debt reduction & weight loss plan. The Core class is going strong and I am thrilled to be able to include it as part of my workout routine. I am holding steady at the 11 pounds lost, but trying to hit the 15 pound mark so I can treat myself to a "Spa Day." Thank you Boo for my "Spa Gift Certificate" ( you are so good to me. I'm smiling). Ebony, my 15 year old poochie, has a "Spa Day" scheduled as well, she's earned it!

I am back at the Seasonal Job so my schedule will be very busy and I absolutely must be even more hardcore and committed to the plan! So far I am loving my journey down "I'm on my way Blvd" just trying not to shout to loudly because we've got many more miles to travel before we reach our destination!!!! But it just feels good and I feel so blessed, so forgive me if I'm getting ahead of myself. One very important element I've incorporated into the plan is to stop wasting energy on other people's expectations of me. There comes a time (forty-something, hopefully sooner for others) when you realize it doesn't matter how hard you try to please certain people, they still aren't going to be happy so you might as well use that energy on things that make you happy! Now, some of these people are NOT to happy with me, but oh well. I don't think it's selfish. I think it's a smart & strategic move to use your energy and focus to accomplish your goals. I didn't say be selfish, I said stop catering to other peoples expectations. It's a load off!!! It has helped me tremendously to become comfortable with the decisions I've made.

As far as April-I do think we've had the biggest "April Fool's" of all with this weather, but the forecast is calling for more "Spring" like weather and not a minute to soon. I received a text message that "Obama" is running for re-election-You Go Boy- and I will continue to have your back. I may not agree with everything Obama says or does, but I trust him!

So people brace yourself for "Spring" keep an eye on your elderly neighbors and yes please, give a homeless person a $1! And Count your blessings!
