First day of summer. This is the longest day of the year or the longest period of daylight and I've got a list of things to do a mile long! It's pretty early and I've got a lot of it out of the way already, but still going and plan to hit the gym as well. I've got to make it today, because this "forty-something" took the weekend off and did not get to anything on the list! I lounged and watched movies and read the paper and went to lunch with a friend. I just did not want to be on a schedule and obligated by appointments.
Still haven't found any comfortable shoes and am back at the seasonal job for a good stretch. Not complaining. I enjoy the work I do, all of it. I feel blessed to do the work I do, including the ab/core class.
How bout those "Lakers"!!!! the repeat 2010 Champions!!! I love it. Now that's what I call determination! And the Celtics were on a roll, my hats off to them. It was a very good series.
Being "forty-something" I go around and around and around with whether or not I should dye my hair; it's 50/50 when I ask advice of others and I always end up not dying it. So again this summer I cut 2 or 3 inches off of this wild gray mane of mine and I am happy with that. It gets kind of hot with all this hair all over the place and the 2 or 3 inches tame things.
We've got the lawn furniture out so the next opportunity to chill and grill in the backyard, lay in the sun and relax will be taken advantage of. The summers are short so enjoy them. Be grateful for your blessings and treat people the way you want to be treated!!!!
