The "Holiday Cheer" was very nice despite the nasty weather. We all had a good time and ate very well, yum. We collected nonperishable food items, hats, scarves and gloves which have been donated to a local needy family.
Merry Christmas! It feels like "Santa" has been to my house already. I was on my way out the door to work one day and the door bell rang, "who is this?" It was the FedEx guy with a huge box. Well of course I had to sneak a peek-it was a fabulous docking station for my Ipod. I absolutely love, love, love it and listening to the fantastic play list I've created. Thank you boo! I've received a $100 bill, love that, some fragrance and 3 books that I've absolutely been wanting even if I haven't been able to read the books I received for my birthday yet. I've also received a few other gifts and its not even Christmas yet! But Thank you all for the lovely gifts. I am touched.
I met with some people about one of the projects I've been working on. It went very well and Thank you for your time. I learned some things in that meeting and am grateful for that alone. I need a few things to continue working on the "Obama" collage, but I am seriously avoiding the stores and shops. I know it's crazy out there right now. I'm trying the product "Icool" for the "Hot Flashes" based on the advertisement that was left in my mailbox, plus there was a coupon in the paper so I thought why not, but I am here to tell you these "Hot Flashes" are not kidding! Even with the temperatures in the single digits and windchill factor I still can hardly stand the heat in the house and I will turn the ceiling fans on.
I've missed a number of work outs being busy with a lot of other stuff and I feel stuffed. My back room looks likes santa's workshop. I'm working on a wrapping gig for a friend. Another friend was over the other day and we were talking about age and exercise and I said this "forty something" body is on it's way to 50 something! I absolutely must get back in the swing of things. I'm sure it doesn't help that I've been indulging in the many scrumptious holiday treats! Well, it is the holiday season after all. But I know better so I am not giving advice about moderation this year, I did well at Easter, perhaps because it's a quick holiday, but, the Christmas season starts the day after Thanksgiving. So Merry Christmas! Please remember to be kind, check on your elderly neighbors, donate to the food pantries and shelters and buy a homeless person a cup of something warm. Bless you for doing so. In the mean time I need to get this forty-something body to the gym and chill out on the treats! LOL. Merry Christmas!
