Things that bug me!!!!

I know I don't usually complain, but this week some things got under my skin!!!! As you know my seasonal job started so I've been working a lot and have missed some of my workouts which is probably why my patience is thin(I'll get to workout tomorrow). For the most part things are going very well, but it bugs me when people are rude. It bugs me when people put others down to build themselves up. It bugs me when people complain about everything that's wrong and lose sight of everything that's right! It especially bugs me when people are on their cells phones constantly, no matter what they're doing. They will walk up to me while engaged in conversation with someone on their cell phone and expect to conduct whatever business it is they require. I politely tell them that I'll be able to help you as soon as you finish your phone call. They suck their teeth and hem and hall like I'm being rude. I think the polite thing to do is finish your phone call before you even approach me! I also think not only is it stupid, but also dangerous to be talking on the phone while driving and you have your children in the car-what in the world is so important that you have to be on the phone in the car while your driving with your children in the car with you!!! An accident waiting to happen.

It's amazing to me that we seemed to managed just fine before cell phones. Now everyone is so important, not one phone call can wait!!!! I love my "voicemail" that's what it's for. People I am busy, leave me a message and I'll get back to you!!!!! No. No-one died and made me boss, but pay attention to what you're doing. Can you engage the person your with. Can you focus entirely when you're trying to do this and that and that too? Yes, I am aware of what they call multitasking. I do it everyday, when its called for. But I think you have to have some boundaries, what I like to call balance. There is a place and time for everything and 90% of the time, it can go to voicemail! Life will go on, I promise.

Focus people and count your blessings. Pay attention to the good in your life. Trust me, Im fortysomething!
