First off last week was a very busy week. I had my 9yr old niece for 3&1/2 days and she kept auntie busy!!!! The little diva! She is a joy. Needless to say my de-cluttering project came to a halt and seeing that my seasonal job resumes on Friday, it will take a bit longer to complete. It was hard to eat clean with a 9yr old around, but over all I did pretty well if you don't count the totally scrumptious piece of chocolate birthday cake my neighbor brought over (yes I ate it). Which is why I hit the gym 1st thing Monday, my flex day if I'd like to skip the gym without feeling guilty. There you have it, the truth.
Another glitch is that I ripped the passenger side mirror off the car backing out of the garage rushing to get to the "Ab Class". $185.00. Yes, I looked into "cheaper", but it's going to be $185.00 and we are not going to cry over spilled milk, just going to keep moving forward and count my blessings. It's spring, the birds are chirping, the daffodils and tulips are starting to bloom, the temps are warming up and daylight is lasting longer. Stuff happens-Look on the bright side.
I am thrilled to report that I have received some wonderful "Obama" items for the collage. Absolutely thrilled!!!!! I am still open to more if anyone else would like to give up their "Obama" items. I also received an absolutely beautiful gift from Kenya. I collect African art and this is fabulous. A perfect addition. I love it! This kind of stuff skyrockets my "joy factor".
Lastly, I have finally tried the "old lady" bra. I bought two other bras I felt were more my style. The "old lady" bra was like a restraint-like it was holding the girls against their will. It did provide support, but the girls were held hostage, like they were tied up and could not escape no matter what! I tried one of the other new bras I bought and liked the look of this one and how the girls were at least able to move about a bit. It is prettier and sexier, but in all honesty, does not provide the support the "old lady" bra did. I am hoping the 3rd new bra is the charm!
Enjoy the beautiful Spring weather, the blooming flowers and all your blessings. Life is good!!!! I am off to get the mirror fixed and then hit the gym. Such is the life of a "forty-something".
